ABSTRACT: Addressing Mental Health Support for Vocational Students and Educators is essential for fostering a healthy and productive learning environment. This study examined the current state of mental health support in vocational education settings and identified strategies to enhance this support. The objectives were: to assess the prevalence of mental health issues among vocational students and educators, to evaluate the effectiveness of existing mental health support services, and to propose improvements to mental health support systems. A survey design was chosen for its ability to collect detailed data from a large sample of respondents, providing a comprehensive understanding of the mental health landscape. A sample size of 250 vocational students and educators was selected using a purposive sampling technique to include those experiencing or providing mental health support. The case study was the Federal Science and Technical College, Yaba, Lagos State. Findings indicated that mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression were prevalent among students and educators, and existing support services were often inadequate. It was recommended that vocational institutions should enhance mental health resources, provide regular training for educators on mental health awareness, and establish robust support networks to address the mental health needs of their communities.
